Legal Guarantee

When purchasing goods from AfricanFabs, you are protected by the statutory legal guarantee applicable to consumers in the European Union.

This means that the goods you receive must conform to what was agreed and to what you can reasonably expect from the product at the time of delivery.

What does the legal guarantee cover?

If a product does not conform to the agreement, you may be entitled to a remedy under the applicable consumer protection laws. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair or replacement, a price reduction or a refund.

The legal guarantee should not be confused with a commercial durability guarantee. It does not mean that every product is guaranteed to remain in its original condition for two years.

Normal wear and tear, changes resulting from normal use or washing, and damage caused by improper use, washing or care are not automatically considered a lack of conformity.

The European Union has introduced a harmonised notice explaining consumers' legal guarantee rights. The new notice applies from 27 September 2026.
